Late start on the blog today, sorry, been a busy night.
I got up this morning and weighed in. 295. Since the start of this fast (4 days ago) I've now lost a full 10 pounds. :-)
The weight loss is great but the fast is really slowing me down. I got on my stationary bike today and could barely do my 30 minute routine. I got tired really fast and had to push myself to finish but I did get through it.I'm still cold all the time. I'll have to see if I can find other people that on a juice fast and find out if they are feeling this too.
Today's juices are:
Morning
Orange Juice
3 Large Oranges
1/2 Lemon
1/4 Pineapple (Pineapple has a natural anti inflammatory in it. I have some arthritis in an ankle because of an old injury, homeopathic people tell me to use a lot of pineapple.)
Afternoon
Worked in the yard all day, forgot to have one but I did manage to have a 22 ounce glass of lemon water. I haven't had a Lemon water in a long while, I'll have to do this again because it is delicious.
Late Afternoon
My wife came home around 3 pm with a ripe Papaya and a pound of fresh Cherries
Into the juicer I put two green Apples and two big handfuls of Cherries. The result was beautiful, I should have taken a photo of this, next time I will.
Into my blender I put half the Papaya and two fresh Bananas and a cup of ice.
In a word, AWESOME! (photo below)

Evening
2 Granny Smith Apples
2 Kiwi Fruits. The inclusion of the Kiwi was something of a personal dare. I didn't know how it would taste but I'm experimenting so what the heck. It turned out to be a good choice. It added a smooth, tart, flavor. I'll definitely do this again.

1/2 a Beet. I've read some interesting stuff about beets, beets are sometimes called "Nature's Viagra" The ancient Romans used beets as an aphrodisiac. The effect has been proven by modern science. Beets contain a large amount of Boron which is directly related to the production of human sex hormones. Beets contain Betaine, the same substance that is used in certain treatments of depression. Beets also contains Trytophan, which relaxes the mind and creates a sense of well-being. So have some beet juice, feel good, get laid.
One word of caution about beets.
