Day 10

The beginning of day 10 I weighed in 291. The result of the 10 day juice fast has been a loss of 14 pounds. I feel pretty good about this.
I was away for the Memorial Day weekend and off the Juice Fast (but maintained a vegan diet) so I thought I'd juice for 3 more days to make up the difference, see if I can hit my goal weight of between 280 and 285. I won't continue blogging about juicing though.
What I wanted to do is to start thinking more about the Vegan diet, start the experiment finally.
My wife tells me she's done with the juice fast so I can write about what we're doing for her for the next three days then I can get into it.
A final bit of information you will need about juice fasting.
Coming off a juice fast has to be done slowly, to end juicing and just go back to eating a normal diet (even a vegan diet) will cause havoc with your body.
For the amount of time that you have spent juicing your digestive system has, sort of, been on pause. Nothing but liquid has gone through your system and so jumping right back into a normal diet will be like eating rocks and nails, you will suffer for it.

the information (according to the site) has been reviewed by a "Medical Review Board" Hopefully that's true and I can trust it.
I figure after about another 5 days of slowly returning to solid foods I should be able to get into the what it is I came here to do.
I would like to spend the next 90 days on a completely Vegan diet.
90 Days, I know that's the entire summer, Barbeque season. All my favorite activities will be off limits. Oh well, all my favorite activities are what made me nearly 370 pounds in the first place and putting those things off limits is probably the best thing I could ever do for myself.
